Objective:   Explore nationalist movements in sub-Saharan Africa.  Examine the emergence, rule, and collapse of apartheid in South Africa.

Task:  Good afternoon!  When you arrive to class, please get out a whiteboard, scrap paper or Notability to answer the question below:

What is nationalism?  How did it impact Sub-Saharan Africa?

We'll use your responses to guide our review of "Resistance, Nationalism, & Independence."  Then, you'll post a response to the discussion thread before we move on to our exploration of apartheid.
