HWC Day 78 - Indigenous Peoples of Latin America

Objective:   Investigate the geography of Latin America.  Discuss the influence and characteristics of indigenous peoples of Latin America.

Task: When you arrive to class, please find a seat in the discussion circle with others who read the same article on indigenous peoples.  Each group will create a poster describing identifying characteristics and unique qualities of the peoples.  Then, you'll present your poster to the class and we'll compare and contrast these civilizations.  We'll also use this information to characterize Latin America prior to the Columbian Exchange.   Finally, we'll end class with a game to review the physical geography of Latin America.
