HWC Day 8 - Periodization of World History

Objectives:  Trace the development of humanity from the origins of man to the 21st century. 

Task:   Good afternoon!  When you arrive to class, please pick up the "Vocab Footloose" sheet from the podium in the front of the room.  We'll spend the first portion of class playing a game to review the Primer vocabulary.  Then, we'll continue our notes on periodization in history.

  • Friday, February 6 - Colonialism vs. Imperialism due
  • Friday, February 6 - Globalization & Diversity chapter 1 reading quiz (reading notes may be used)
  • Monday, February 9 -  Primer vocabulary quiz
  • Monday, February 9 - Post "Ayiti Reflection" on Moodle forum due

  • Tuesday, February 10 - Globalization & Development video summary on Moodle forum due
  • Wednesday, February 11 - Unit 1 Test (study guide will be posted on the Moodle on or before Thursday, February 5)
