CPWC Day 45 - Introduction to East Asia

EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY:  You can earn extra credit for attending and participating the "Great Decisions" discussion series.  Please see the email I sent last week for details.  If you would like to come to any of the discussions, please let me know so that I can add you to the Schoology group.

Objective:  Examine the ideas and influence of indigenous and diffused religious and philosophical traditions in East Asia.  Investigate the historical and cultural significance of the Silk Road.

Task:  Ni hao!  When you arrive to class, please submit you homework to the appropriate Schoology dropbox.  After everyone submits their homework, you'll choose new seats for the fourth quarter.  While I'm creating the new seating chart, you'll label the countries, cities, and islands on the East Asia map.  Then, we'll begin our examinations of the religions and philosophies of East Asia with a short video.  Finally, you'll spend the last portion of class investigating the Silk Road.
