CPWC Day 19 - History of Africa

Day 1 - PAW 1

Objective:  Describe historical developments in Africa prior to European colonization.  Examine the course of European colonization in Europe.

Task:  Good afternoon!  When you arrive to class, please download and complete "CPWC Africa Capitals List" (in Africa Geography Resources folder).  After we review the list, we'll look at the DBQ and determine the status of Africa prior to the mid-19th century.  Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class reviewing the Scramble for Africa.
