CPWC Day 17 - Africa Before European Arrival

Day 4 - PAW 4

Objective:  Examine pre-19th century African history.  Label and complete a political map of Sub-Saharan Africa.

Task:  Happy Friday!  When you arrive to class, please upload your homework to the appropriate dropboxes and  download "Sub-Saharan Africa Map" from the "Africa Geography Resources" folder.  We'll spend the first portion of class completing the large map of Africa.  Then, you'll complete "What Have I Learned About Africa So Far?"  Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class working on "DBQ-Africa Before European Arrival."

• TODAY - Geography chapter 18, section 3 reading notes due in class
• TODAY - Labeled Central Africa map (in "Africa Map Packet") due in class
• Tuesday, February 20 - Labeled South & East Africa map (in "Africa Map Packet") due in class

• Wednesday, February 21 - Completed document analysis for "DBQ-Africa Before European Arrival" due
• Friday, February 23 - Africa map quiz
• Monday, February 26 - Unit 2 Test (study guide posted to Schoology)
