Objectives:   Utilize primary sources to evaluate Spanish conquest of the Aztecs.  Examine social changes brought about by European colonization of Latin America.

Task:  Good morning!  Today, we'll begin class with a discussion of the indigenous peoples of the Americas and the impact of colonization.  Then, we'll consider the creation of the strict social hierarchy in Mexico.
