Day 2 - PAW 2
Objective: Begin to develop class rapport. Identify and label the world's major cultural regions.
Task: Good afternoon! When you arrive to class, please get out a pen or pencil and store everything else under your desk. We'll spend the first portion of class getting to know each other. Then, we'll begin our exploration of the world by labeling a cultural regions map.
Homework Due Dates:
- TODAY - Student information sheet due by 3:00 pm
- Friday, January 26 - Geography chapter 1, section 1 reading due at the beginning of class
- Friday, January 26 - Parent information sheet and parent email to Mrs. Friday due by 3:00 pm
- Monday, January 29 - Read "How Can We Fix the World if We Can't Read a Map" BEFORE class begins
- Tuesday, January 30 - PAW 5
- Tuesday, January 30 - Read "What Difference Does Language Make?" or "Where People Don't Like to Say No" BEFORE class begins
- Tuesday, February 6 - PAW 5
