Media Day 52 - Portrayals of Gender and Violence

Objective:  Identify and explain gender stereotyping in the media.

Task:  Today, we're going to finish up our examination of gender in the media with an examination of the ways in which gender stereotypes in the media can lead to violence.  After a brief discussion on magazines as a form of mass media, you'll read and answer questions about "The Beautiful, the Bulimic, and the Dead."
