EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY:  You can earn extra credit for attending and participating the "Great Decisions" discussion series.  Please see the email I sent last week for details.  If you would like to come to any of the discussions, please let me know so that I can add you to the Schoology group.

Objective:  Examine the geography and demography of South Asia.

Task:  Namaste!  When you arrive to class, please upload your reading notes to the appropriate dropbox and open up your South Asia Investigation.  You'll spend the first 20 minutes of class working on the completion check.  If you finish early, please read or, if you have headphones, listen to "A Feisty 12-year-old Shows Us What Life in Nepal is Like After the Earthquake" (PRI, 4/21/2016).  After everyone has finished with the completion check, we'll finish our notes on the religions of South Asia.  Finally, you'll spend the last portion of class organizing a timeline of significant events in the history of the subcontinent.
