HWC Day 6 - Primer Presentations

Special Notes:  If you haven't done so already, stop by the library to pick up issues of History Today and Current History for questions 42 & 43 on the Foundations Investigation.

Objective:   Discuss the origins of humanity as presented in "Becoming Human."   Explore the difficulties and justifications for periodization in history.

Task:   We'll begin class with a brief discussion of the "Becoming Human" documentary.  Specifically, we'll examine the argument and consider the complexities of the social sciences.  Then, you'll watch and take notes on the Primer presentations.  Finally, we'll end class with an examination of periodization in history.
