Objective: Identify and utilize library resource relevant to CP World Cultures.
Task: Good morning! When you arrive to class, please open up Schoology and download "Foundations Investigation - Spring '15" into Notability. After attendance is taken, we'll head down to the library to work on the Foundations Investigation.
Some helpful hints:
- The first page is just people - probably best to use Google b/c some of these people have taken office relatively recently.
- For bottom of page 2, you will need to use print copies of The Economist, The Week, The Christian Science Monitor, and/or Time. Students can use NoodleTools if they need help formatting but they must WRITE or TYPE the citations on the document. I haven't gone over the elements of culture yet but they should be able to get at least some of them done in class.
- For page 3, students will need to use the ProQuest Historical Newspapers database for #25.
- For page 4, go to “Watching America” for question 26 and use the news sources below for question 27 (also linked in Schoology).
