"The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled" - Plutarch
Objectives: Identify the characteristics of collaboration and a critical thinker. Analyze and critique the arguments presented in Guns, Germs, & Steel.
Task: Good afternoon! When you arrive to class, please get out your i-Pad and DRAW the characteristics of a critical thinker. We'll spend the first portion of class discussing the process of critical thinking. Then, we'll extend our examination to review collaboration in HWC and I'll explain the requirements for your Primer project. Next, you'll engage in a discussion of Guns, Germs, & Steel.
