Media Day 1 - Introduction

Objective:  Establish a basis for studying media.  

Task:  Welcome to Media Studies!  We'll deviate from the normal "first day of class" activities and instead dive right into our studies.  Specifically, you'll brainstorm the different ways you've engaged with media in the last 24 hours in your Media Studies Journal in Notability.  Then,  we'll read through teacher expectations and the class syllabus. 

Homework:

• Thursday, January 28 - Student Information (GoogleForm in Schoology) due by 3:00
• Friday, January 29- Parent Information (GoogleForm in Schoology) & email to Mrs. Friday due by 11:59 pm
• Friday, January 29 - Newspapers/magazines due in class for extra credit (2 points for each school appropriate source - up to 10 bonus points/student)
