Welcome to CP World Cultures!  In this class we'll explore the history, geography, and contemporary issues of our world.  I encourage you to follow the news and to identify connections with other subject areas.  In order to succeed in CPWC, it is essential that you establish effective, consistent work and study habits.  However, if you find yourself confused or overwhelmed, please don't hesitate to see or e-mail me.

Objective:  Introduce class procedures and expectations.  Begin to develop class rapport.

Task:  Good day!  Today, we'll begin with the usual first day activities including attendance, seating assignments, and a review of class rules and expectations.  I'll introduce class resources such as this blog.  You'll also sign out your textbook.

• Friday, January 29 - Parent Information (GoogleForm via Schoology) and email to Mrs. Friday due by 11:59 pm
• Friday, January 29 - Geography chapter 1, section 1 reading notes due in class
• Tuesday, January 29 - Geography chapter 1, section 2 reading notes due in class
