Day 2 - PAW 2
Objectives: Evaluate the impact of the Columbian Exchange.
Period 3 Task: Greetings! When you arrive to class, please find your seat. Before we begin our "speed dating" session, we'll spend a few minutes reviewing our knowledge of the early modern era to this point. Then, you'll rotate through the session and spend 4 minutes with each explorer. Finally, we'll debrief the activity and you'll begin formulating your reflection.
Period 4 Task: Greetings! When you arrive to class, please grab a whiteboard and write a thesis statement in response to the following question:
Why were American crops significant factors in the development of the modern era?
We'll spend a little time reviewing your thesis statements before moving into an exploration of the spices & foods that helped to spur the new era.Homework Due Dates:
