West Civ Day 33 - Martin Luther & the Reformation

Objective:  Explore dissent within the the context of the Renaissance and the 20th century.  Discuss the relationship between humanism and dissent.

Task:  Good day!  Well met!  Welcome back!!!  I hope you enjoyed your unexpected, extended break.  Today, we'll finish up our examination of Martin Luther with a comparison of his words in 1517 and those later in his life.  We'll review the questions for each document and then compare the documents.  Finally, you'll spend the remainder of class using the databases to gather information on Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin, King Henry VIII (England), Thomas More, & Ignatius of Loyola.
