Objective: Define history and the social sciences as they will be applied in HWC. Explore the difficulties and justifications for periodization in history.
Task: Happy Friday! We'll begin today's class with your Primer presentations. You'll spend the remainder of class working with a partner to identify the elements of culture in a provided image. After you finish your image analysis, please work on "Considering Periodization" (in unit 1 of Schoology).
Homework:

- Friday, February 3 - Imperialism discussion (complete Venn diagram and chart in preparation for our discussion)
