CPWC Day 76 - Australia

Important:  We are rapidly approaching the end of the semester and the end of this course. Please check PowerSchool.  If you have any questions about your grade, please see me during period 12 as soon as possible.

Purpose:  Investigate the geography, history, & culture of Australia.

Task: Welcome back!  I hope you had a relaxing, enjoyable holiday break.  When you arrive to class, please download "Australia" from Schoology and go to the last page of the packet.  We'll spend the first portion of class breaking down "Waltzing Matilda" to develop an understanding of Australia.  Then, you'll complete the remainder of the Australia worksheets before we delve into the Stolen Generations.  If time allows, you'll explore some of the contemporary issues in the region.  Finally, we'll end class with a Kahoot! to review for tomorrow's map quiz.
