Objective:  Investigate the geo-political and cultural significance of select events in Japan's history. Compare politics, society, and culture in North Korea and South Korea.

Task:  Good morning!  To begin class, we'll finish our notes on Japan.  Then, you'll read through "Korea Heritage Notes."  Finally, we'll form a circle to discuss the history, culture, and geo-politics of Korea.
