CPWC Day 48 - Communism & Contemporary China

Objective:  Examine the ideas and influence of indigenous and diffused religious and philosophical traditions in East Asia.  Investigate the cultural significance of select events in China's history.

Task:  Good morning!  When you arrive to class, please work on your China history summary paragraph.  I'll check homework and then we'll watch a video on "China's Revolutions: 1911-1989."  Then, you'll work on "Case Study: Communism in China" to investigate developments in 20th century China.  After you complete the case study, please begin working on the unit 5 study guide.  We'll end class with a brief examination of the contrast between contemporary urban and rural China.
