CPWC Day 46 - History of China

Objective:  Examine the ideas and influence of indigenous and diffused religious and philosophical traditions in East Asia.  Investigate the cultural significance of select events in China's history.

Task:  Happy Friday!  When you arrive to class, please open up your religions notes.  We'll begin class with a brief overview of Daoism.  Then, you'll investigate the history of China.  Finally, we'll end class with a reflection on our learning about East Asia thus far.

Homework:

• TODAY - East Asia map due in Schoology dropbox by 4:00 pm
• Monday, November 9 - Chapter 28, section 2 reading notes due in class
• Tuesday, November 10 - Chapter 29, section 1 reading notes due in class
• Wednesday, November 11 - Chapter 29, section 2 reading notes due in class
• Thursday, November 12 - Unit 5 reading quiz (27.1, 27.3, 28.2, 29.1, & 29.2 - two-sided, hand-written index card may be used)
• Tuesday, November 17 - Unit 5 Test
