Objectives: Analyze the causes & impact of decolonization in Asia and Africa. Identify causes, course, and consequences of the Cold War.
Task: Good morning! When you arrive to class, please read "If You Shouldn't Call it the Third World, What Should You Call It?" (NPR, 1/4/15). Then, we'll form a circle and you will present your Cold War scenarios, and the options you chose, to the class. Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class identifying relationships between decolonization and the Cold War.
