Day 4 - PAW 4

Objectives:  Examine the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the emergence of the Republic of Turkey.  Evaluate the way in which symbols were used in propaganda.  Prepare for Russia 1917 simulation.

Task:  Good morning!  When you arrive to class, please open up your work on Turkey.  We'll spend the first few minutes considering the status of the new Turkish republic.  Then, we'll take some time to examine common symbols of the Russian Revolution before you begin researching your roles for Monday's simulation.
