Media Day 61 - Assessing Portrayals of Class in the Media

Objective:  Establish a basis for studying portrayals and construction of social class in the media. 

Task: Good morning!  When you arrive to class, please read ONE of the articles below.  Then, we'll watch a short clip about news coverage of the poor before our discussion.  Finally, you'll begin "Examining Social Class in the Media."

Due Dates: 

• Monday, May 2 - Wednesday, May 4 - Bring headphones or earbuds to class!
