HWC Day 19 - Independence in Sub-Saharan Africa

Objectives:  Identify and dispel misconceptions about Africa.  Evaluate the impact of imperialism in Africa.

Task:  Good morning!  When you arrive to class, please get out a pen or pencil in preparation for your reading quiz.  After you've finished your reading quiz, please download "Let's Consider" from Schoology into Notability in preparation for our discussion.  Then, begin (or continue) working on the "African nationalist worksheet" that is due in class tomorrow.  Once everyone has finished the quiz, we'll form a discussion circle to consider the continued impact of imperialism in Africa.
