CPWC Day 2 - What Do You Know About Geography?

Objective:  Assess existing knowledge of culture and geography.  Identify continents, countries, seas, oceans, and other geographic features.

Task:  Welcome back to the second day of World Cultures class!  Today we'll begin class with a discussion about our activity from yesterday.  Then,  you'll complete a  pre-test on Schoology.  This is NOT a graded assignment.  However, this will help me to taylor activities to your needs - please do your best!   After you've finished the pre-test, please read and respond to "The World Upside-Down."  Finally, we'll spend the last portion of class working on "Latitudes and Longitudes."

• Wednesday, September 2 - Parent Information (GoogleForm via Schoology) and email to Mrs. Friday due by 3:00
• Wednesday, September 2 - Geography chapter 1, section 1 reading notes due in class
• Thursday, September 3 - Geography chapter 1, section 2 reading notes due in class
