CPWC Day 13 - Introduction to Africa

Objective:  Label the countries, cities, and bodies of water in Sub-Saharan Africa.  Identify and dispel misconceptions about Sub-Saharan Africa.

Pd. 3-4 Task (Shortened Class - Digital Citizenship):  Happy Friday!  When you arrive to class, please get out your map packet and your tracing paper map.  We'll spend the first portion of class labeling West Africa on our large map.  Then, you'll use the remainder of class to read and summarize "Introduction" (posted in Schoology).

Pd. 6-9 Task:  Happy Friday!  When you arrive to class, open up and read "Introduction."  Post your summary to the discussion thread.   If you finish early, please work on your unit 2 homework.   Then, we'll work together to label your large Africa map.  Finally, if there is any time remaining, you'll work on upcoming assignments.

• Thursday, September 24 - Geography chapter 18 reading quiz (one-sided note card may be used)
• Monday, September 28 - Africa map quiz (use TapQuiz Maps & your tracing paper map to study!)
• Wednesday, September 30 - Unit 2 Test
