Objective:   Examine select historical developments in China.   Evaluate the impact of communism in 20th and 21st century China.

Task:  Good morning!  Unfortunately, we won't be able to hold our debate today.  Instead, you'll examine the story behind one of the iconic images of the twentieth century.   Specifically, we'll watch a documentary on the events at Tiananmen Square in 1989.  As you watch, you'll take notes while viewing the documentary.  You'll use these notes, along with your work from the case study on communism and "Mao: Liberator or Oppressor" to respond to the "Communism in China" discussion thread.
