HWC Day 37 - New Spirit of the Renaissance

Objectives:  Investigate the cultural, social, political, and economic status of Europe prior to the Modern Era.  Define characteristics and contributions of the Italian Renaissance.

Task:  Salvete!  When you arrive to class, please download the "Europe Geography Jigsaw" and clear your desks.  We'll spend the first portion of class reviewing the map of Europe.  After we review the jigsaw activity, you'll watch a brief segment about the economic history of pre-modern and Italian Renaissance Europe.  Finally, you'll spend the last portion of class applying your knowledge of the Renaissance and the Middle Ages.
