Task: Good morning! When you arrive to class, please open up or get out your Southeast Asia map. We'll start with a short map check. After you've finished, please turn in your work at the back of the room and begin working on your assigned topic in "Considering Southeast Asia." When everyone has completed the map activity, we'll move into a discussion circle to analyze "A Taste of Adventure." Then, we'll begin our notes on colonialism & imperialism in the region.
