Purpose:  Examine artifacts and remembrances from the Holocaust.  Consider the impact of Gandhi on world history.

    Purpose:  Identify and label cities, bodies of water, and physical features of South Asia.  Define South Asia as a cultural region.  Describe essential characteristics of the Indic religions.

    Task:  Good morning!  Today, we'll focus on the cultural impaact of the sacred cow in India.  Please open up "Holy Cow!" in Schoology.  We'll spend the first few minutes of class watching a clip about the significance of the cow in India. Then, you'll follow the directions to complete the remainder of the activity.   Finally, after you've submitted "Holy Cow!" please begin working on "The Partition of India."

    Pd. 3-4 Task:  Good morning!  When you arrive to class, please submit your homework to the appropriate dropbox in Schoology.  There has been a slight change in plans - you'll complete the South Asia Investigation check in class on Wednesday.  Today, we'll focus on the cultural impaact of the sacred cow in India.  Please open up "Holy Cow!" in Schoology.  We'll spend the first few minutes of class watching a clip about the significance of the cow in India.
