CPWC Day 21 - Contemporary Issues in Africa

Objective:  Examine major issues facing Africa since independence. Identify the manner in which select African states are dealing with social, political, and economic issues.

Pd. 3-4 Task:  We'll begin class with a presentation about Mali from a guest speaker. After his presentation is finished, we'll spend the remainder of class finishing our examination of contemporary Africa. Finally, we'll spend the remainder of class reviewing for tomorrow's test.

Pd. 6-9 Task:  After you've recorded the daily objective, we'll briefly discuss the presentation in pd. 3-4.  Then you'll spend some time investigating the status of Zimbabwe.  Finally, we'll spend the remainder of class reviewing for tomorrow's test.
