Objective:   Assess knowledge of the geography of Southeast Asia, Australia, & Oceania.  Investigate America's role in the Northern Mariana Islands.

Objective:   Investigate the cultural heritage and contemporary issues of Southeast Asia.

Task:   When you arrive to class, we'll spend a few minutes taking notes on colonialism and imperialism in Southeast Asia (hand-out on Schoology).   We'll also briefly review tensions in Myanmar and Philippines.  Then, we'll spend the remainder of class examining the genocide conducted by the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.
